Historic Ormiston House is delighted to be hosting the 2020 Small Museums Conference from Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October inclusive, with a pre-conference seminar on Thursday 15 October! Click here to read more about the Conference Theme.
Registrations are now open! Check out the official conference programme here and book your ticket! Discounted early bird and volunteer/unwaged fees are available. Thanks to the generosity and support of Griffith University, the registration portal for this event is being hosted on the Griffith University website. This helps keep registration fees low for all delegates by reducing our need to invest in booking/ticketing services or additional website infrastructure. N.B. Registration fees include meals/refreshments. Please advise of ALL dietary requirements at time of booking.
Available at an additional cost, delegates can also choose to attend the following events:
- Pre-conference Conservation and Care seminar with Melanie Fihelly, Professional AICCM accredited conservator (Thursday 15 October)
- Redland Museum Tour (Thursday 15 October)
- The Conference Dinner at The Old Courthouse Restaurant (Thursday 15 October)
- Historic Ormiston House Garden Tour (Saturday 17 October)
- Historic Ormiston House COVID Safe High Tea (Saturday 17 October)
The Garden Tour and High Tea run simultaneously, so guests will need to choose between these two events – although either choice will be a wonderful afternoon!
