Guests were spoilt for choice at the 2020 Small Museums and Galleries Conference, and even had the opportunity to attend an Ormiston House High Tea! COVID-19 brought many challenges to the heritage industry, but this High Tea went ahead with a COVID Safe Twist! Guests enjoyed all the scrumptious goodies you would expect from our High Teas, but instead of a shared tiered plate (which was not permitted under the COVID Safe Plan), they eached received a single plate containing their own goodies, with a complimentary glass of sparkling.
Guests participating in the High Tea enjoyed beautiful china, delicious goodies and the wonderful ambience of a special afternoon against the backdrop of one of Queensland’s most significant heritage properties. With the High Tea seating being nestled among the heritage gardens, and catered by a fabulous local chef from The Vintage Apron, this was a wonderful afternoon.
