Autumn Edwardian High Tea

The inclement weather deterred some of our guests from attending our Edwardian High Tea on Wednesday 22 May, but those who braved the wet, chilly conditions were treated to a delicious and elegant afternoon tea. The blinds on the veranda protected our guests from the weather and they had a most enjoyable time.

The ladies had gone to a great deal of effort to make wonderful hats and fascinators, making the event stylish and colourful, with all of the eleganceĀ of past days. Young volunteer Jessica Stroja entertained on the piano.

For those who missed out on this event, do come along to the Spring Edwardian Tea Party in September. We can promise you a most enjoyable afternoon – whatever the weather!
